Change…I read this beautiful quote that once said, “If you looked at your life ten years from now and everything was the same, would you be happy?” That’s when I started to embrace change instead of shying away from it.
Hey loves! Welcome to my new site! I’m so happy to finally be blogging again after 2 months of basically not being present but rather planning, designing and working with Bryan on this site whilst picking out all the littlest details just so it’s almost perfect when I launch it. How was your year so far? I’m hoping everyone learned a lot, may it be through new experiences, obstacles you thought you weren’t able to get past but you did, or a simple heartbreak. There’s no other way to move but on, and there’s no other way to look at life but positively.
So may things have changed;from my old blog site to this new and hopefully improved one, to finally being free after realizing some crucial things that needed to be done for one to grow as a person, and to a new job which I absolutely am enjoying right now–there’s now other word to describe this post other than the word “anew” which means, in a new or different, typically positive way.
Change. It sounds so scary but exciting at the same time. So many emotions come with it but some changes are good and some may leave you with memories that you almost didn’t want to let go of, but we all need it. I read this beautiful quote that once said, “If you looked at your life ten years from now and everything was the same, would you be happy?” That’s when I started to embrace change instead of shying away from it. I realized that meeting new people, and doing new things, and learning to love something new is what keeps us going. Routine kills us and is what stops us from living. So go ahead and meet that dude from LA for coffee, go and travel to Bali on a whim, try on that new shade of purple lipstick your friend told you to stay away from, get classy smashed with red wine, and take beautiful pictures every time you feel change. Embrace it, and live your life with no doubts and fears of what ifs.
Celebrate your life, and Celebrate this Christmas and New Year’s eve with change.
Happy Holidays my sweets!
