Stunning sunsets, pristine seacoasts, zen gardens… Welcome to Nabulao.
If you haven’t already heard of Nabulao Beach and Dive Resort in Hinoba-an, Negros Occidental, here in the Philippines, it’s high time you should because its the perfect place to relax and enjoy with your family and friends!
Now that the holidays and summer is fast approaching, Nabulao is the place you need to feel refreshed and at home, but better. Their well thought out facilities such as their modern and spanish guest rooms, spa, swimming pools and gastronomical offerings caters to their guests over-all wellbeing, and satisfaction.
As we arrived at the resort, we were given our welcome drinks and ample amount of time to marvel at the view before checking in. I could see a sigh of relief from my parents almost as if saying ” Thank heavens we get to rest and relax here”. I remember just smiling and feeling so happy and excited, (who wouldn’t if the place looked like this?!)
We stayed at the Master Suite, which was good for 4-6 people, and had the sweetest ocean view. It was such a spacious room that we could even hold dance lessons inside (no joke). They also have a wide bathroom with an outdoorsy feel, and it was one of the best things about our room too. I met up with my bestfriend Mark, here and we would take pictures and blog during the day while my parents read a book and just relaxed by the patio with their coconut juice. We would take naps and just sink in to their heavenly mattresses and boy it was hard to get up!
Nabulao Nightly Rooms and Rates:
Standard Room- 3,000 Php
Semi- Suite- 4,000Php

On the other wing, called “Puti na Balay” (a Hiligaynon term that means ‘white house’) they have these modern rooms by the pool with perfectly lined palm trees bordering the ocean. I loved their minimalist and well-lit interiors, their comfy beds, and the fact that it’s perfect for groups since it can fit 4-6 people. I know for sure I’m gonna be staying here the next time I visit again.
I also loved their bar by the beach, and their dining area. It just offered you a lovely sea view and that’s a must for me whenever I visit the resort– to be as close to the ocean as possible.
The resort also has two swimming pools, and a spa, so it had pretty much everything you needed for a vacation. They even have these loungers and swings by the beach, perfect for when you want to just sit in a daze or finish reading a book.
EXPERIENCE THE OCEAN
During my last day here, I took Beginner Diving lessons with Paul, their resident dive instructor and I never imagined wanting to go diving as soon as I can again. I have been swimming my whole life but always feared diving. I guess trying it out made me realize that I didn’t have to be scared, I just had to know what to do. Plus it made me so excited to experience the ocean on a whole new level. I think this is a really good place to try diving with the family, as a bonding experience…
