A part of me wishes I lived in the 60’s simply because of how women dressed during those times. The hemlines, the dresses, the headbands, the scarves and the hats were just to die for. I think there will always be a part of me that will love vintage clothing and I wanted to bring that vibe back and add a modern twist to it. Plus the vintage cars we have at home are all being fixed, ergo the modern car.
[show_shopthepost_widget id=”765403″]I was so happy with this shoot even though we were almost melting in the 2:00 pm heat and were craving for ice cold water after and at least a little bit of wind. We were sweating so much so we had such a limited time to take pictures, but in the end it was all worth it and we really enjoyed this set in particular–as soon as I saw the pictures, I was jumping for joy.
I also love the fact that this dress can give you a vintage vibe yet it looks totally wearable right now when you go out to the mall or for brunch. I also made sure that the colors meshed with each other in a loud yet mustered way.
I’d love to hear your comments on this one, and maybe I can do another themed shoot after this like the 70’s this time? What do you guys think?
